Overdue  Policy

Overdue Policy (Notice to Patrons)

Please make sure you know when your library materials are due and return them on time.  You may place library material in the book drop after hours.  If necessary, you may call the library (or use STARCAT) to renew library material.

Library fines are $.10 per day for all material except videos, which are $2.00 per day.

If you have overdue material for:

Two weeks – you will receive a telephone call/1st notice.

Four weeks – you will receive a bill for the replacement cost of the material. 

If your fines total $5.00 or more or you have more than five items overdue, you will loose all library privileges not only at the Dormann Library but any public library in the Southern Tier Library System.

Please be responsible and return material on time.

This letter is a reminder that you have overdue material at the Dormann Library (list attached.) Please return the material and clear any fines at your earliest convenience.    

We value you as a library patron and want to be able to continue to provide you with library services therefore we would appreciate your prompt attention.
